The training course for the company's security team in the field of review, auditing, and training of trainers (TOT & Audit) concluded last Sunday, January 18, 2026, in the Republic of Tunisia. The course was attended by the company's security officer, port facility security officers from the ports of Zuwara, Tripoli, Al-Khums, and Derna, and the Director of the Maritime Affairs Department, who is also the coordinator of the company's security team. The eight-day course was conducted by the Science Company for Education, Training, and Human Resources Development in cooperation with Yassin Center for Maritime Services, one of the specialized centers accredited by the Ports and Maritime Transport Authority. The course comes within the framework of the requirements stipulated in the ISPS Code and in implementation of the Libyan Ports Company's training plan for 2026. The training team that delivered the lectures in the course consisted of Captain Haitham Damak, Mr. Sameh Swaisi, and Engineer Marwan Hafiza. At the end of the course, accredited certificates were distributed to the participants in the presence of the Libyan Consul in Tunisia, Mr. Fadel Al-Qariw.
