About The Libyan Ports Company


Since its establishment in 1986, the Libyan Ports Company (LPC) has shown exceptional ability and high efficiency in managing and operating ports across Libya. In a record time, it has become one of the largest national companies. Its main management headquarters is located in Misurata. The LPC manages and operates eight ports, listed below::
-Tobruk sea port.
-Derna sea port.
-Benghazi sea port.
-Brega sea port.
-Ras Lanuf seaport.
-Al Khums sea port.
-Tripoli sea port.
-Zuwara sea port.
The main objective of the company is to obtain the highest rates of performance in handling of loading and unloading, to operate yards and warehouses in a professional manner and with superior quality, to develop and diversify marine services, while opening horizons of creativity for workers of different horizons and diversity of specializations, Which contributes to a better future for our dear country. The company owns a large number of handling equipment and mechanisms of different tonnage and capacity. The company also owns a fleet of various marine vessels to provide marine services in ports represented in marine surveying, drilling, deepening, towing, pilotage, maneuvering and mooring operations, in addition to floating marine cranes. The Libyan Ports Company always shows great care in investing in modern machinery and equipment, and made this coupled with developing the skills of workers, and providing them with all occupational safety equipment, all of this to provide effective and efficient customer service, with appreciation for teamwork and transparency.
