A specialized team at Tripoli Seaport successfully executed a complex naval maneuver yesterday evening to redirect the ship “Levanti,” which had been anchored at the passenger ship terminal for an extended period. The operation took place between 20:30 PM and 23:00 PM, involving the tugboat “Chistos,” registered under the Panama flag and operated by the shipping agent “Al-Zarouk.” Additionally, two tugboats operating in Tripoli Seaport joined and provided significant support.

The operation was coordinated with secure port radio communications and received personal oversight from Engineer Sami Al-Jabou, Director of Tripoli Seaport, alongside the Head of the Maritime Department.

Despite the inherent challenges and risks of the maneuver, it was executed with remarkable professionalism and efficiency, showcasing the extensive experience of the technical team and the high standards upheld by the port’s members.
