Training Course for Navigation Officers Concludes in Calcutta
This Friday morning, the training course for navigation officers, titled “Management, Operation, Maintenance, and Evaluation of Navigational Aids Hazards,” concluded at the Maritime Navigation Training Institute in Calcutta, India. The course, organized under the auspices of the International Organization for Maritime Aids to Navigation (IALA), ran from November 4 to November 29, 2024.
The Libyan Ports Company was represented at the course in coordination with the Ports and Maritime Transport Authority by navigation officers Hatem Muhammad Zakri and Hussam al-Din al-Tumi al-Walwal from the Maritime Affairs Department at the company’s branch in Tripoli Seaport.
